My boss told me to answer the phone for her in work today. And I stuttered so badly that the person kept saying “hello? Hello?” and I couldn’t get a single word out! My boss was just staring at me and wondering what the hell was wrong. It felt like forever until I managed to force out “uh....hello...” instead of “______ house, ______ speaking how can I help?” She answered it herself for the rest of the day. That was so embarrassing I might just curl up and die.
