Good to hear that you were encouraged and people were supportive of it but here it's totally a different scenario. Here, they wait to comment on one other (although it's a religious gathering) I'd rather be left alone than be given something like this just because someone thinks it's a normal thing to do and I should go with it. I also don't want to make it obvious that I stutter. I don't accept it even if I do have it because it has given people enough opportunity to bully me. From my teachers to my classmates and that's why I still have an emotional breakdown at times due to those experiences. I'm in a difficult position and I really am having a dilemma.
