It takes a lot of courage to do what you did. And I appeal to you to never stop doing it. So what if you stuttered on your name? You had so much more to share and I am sure the audience would be very excited to hear from you. You know what's made my life a lot easier? Instead of assessing my progress with stuttering in terms of how fluently I said what I wanted to, I've started to assess how comfortably I am approaching certain situations I used to avoid before. I think about what frame of mind I was in before I approached the situation and how I controlled my stutter OR remained disassociated from my stuttering after I stuttered. You cannot let it faze you out. You must persist.
