I definitely relate with not able to say thank you, someone goes out of the way to help me and I find it hard to say it, and when I do say it, my voice goes down almost seeming I'm hesitating to express my gratitude. It sucks sometimes. And for saying hello over the phone, might seem weird but I assume there's a 7 year old kid on the other side, before attending any call and I make sure I'm the first to say it lol, works everytime for me.
