Mouth/tongue piercings or braces with a stutter?

Mouth/tongue piercings or braces with a stutter? I've been considering saving up for braces and used to want to get my lip or something pierced (like snake bites or something). Not as interested in getting those exact piercings anymore but was wondering if anyone here with a stutter got them or braces and if they impacted their speech in any way? I've been a bit wary of adding another obstruction to my mouth that might make forming words any more difficult.
