Calling the person who graduated them from speech a dumbass is super unnecessesary. We're bound by the law in schools - we cannot legally remove students from class for therapy through an IEP unless they meet very specific eligibility criteria. This is true of all special ed services. It's likely when the student graduated they didn't meet the eligibility criteria anymore (which is a good thing!). If they do meet the criteria again now, they can be reevaluated and recieve services again. There is another legal document the student can get through school called a 504 that gives accommodations without having to miss class to go to speech therapy. The speech therapist is not involved in that process at all. Edit: changed a pronoun
