Thank you everyone for your responses. I didn’t expect such traction, so it is really appreciated. They will be required to do a daily standup. But they mentioned during the interview that they did this in a previous role, and it helped them a lot with their confidence. I’ll ask them what way they want to work, which I would do with new employees anyway. And I will be extremely conscious of not finishing their sentences.
