I wouldn't say I've overcome it, but pretty much as soon as I left highschool and wasn't picking on for it constantly, it started to improve to where I have days with minimal repetition and blocks. There are some bad days. This is why I feel that if one has a child that stutters, they should do their level best to ignore it and hope it goes away on its own. Making us self conscious of it probably is what makes it worse. This is only my own opinion, so don't take this as gospel.
