Acknowledged my stutter

Acknowledged my stutter I just came from the hospital and my PCP ordered blood work. As usual they ask for your name and birth date. I blocked on the year and the phlebotomist commented "No worries. I sometimes stutter on certain sounds too" I understand she was trying to be kind and put me at ease but it made me feel even more self conscious and embarrassed. Anyone have a similar experience?
