I’ve been all over the spectrum so I have a few thoughts on this. Some of these questions might be too personal, I apologize for it - How is your sleep? Do you have to take anything “extra” to help you fall asleep at night? How is your caffeine/stimulant intake? Do you live/spend a lot of time in a high stress environment? Experience tells me that when I am sleeping 8+ solid hours, only having one cup of coffee a day (or less), limiting alcohol to the occasional glass of wine, and not spending a lot of time around triggers or living with people who increase my cortisol (stress hormone) levels, my stuttering is minimal, and at times, nonexistant. It’s a big ask in today’s world. I used to be nocturnal and go days without sleep and I turned it all around by the time I hit my 30s. Let me know your thoughts, I can share things that worked for me if you are struggling with any of those things.
