Be patient. Be supportive. Absolutely do not finish their words, fill them in, make then feel rushed. If you read some of the posts in this community you're going to find a lot of people are struggling with security, confidence, and just generally not feeling like they fit in or there's any hope. Be that support structure that makers them feel like they're a regular person, because they are. We all are.
