> honestly I thought it was okay since it is barely obvious This mentality is the bane of the stutterer's existence. So if it's prominent, we are damaged goods? Him being amazing and "personality of gold" gets thrown out the window? I've come to terms that this is some people's viewpoints, but heres some perspective... You can find a very eloquent man, with a dogshit personality. I think you know he's much more of a man than his stutter alone. In regard to passing it down to children, few things... if it does happen, your bf will be a great resource. Also, everyone usually gets something so, if its not stuttering, your child will have their own "demon". I was worried about my child stuttering, he doesnt, but he has a slew of other issues, so go figure. So there are two paths. You can accept his stuttering and love him for the man he is, or move on. Don't play with his emotions.
