About 6 years ago and still going! When I joined the McGuire Programme, learned to be speak better than most "fluent" speakers and made a lot of very close friends in the programme. Did I also tell you that I even do public speaking competitions now at Toastmasters and even won a few along the way? If it wasn't for stuttering, I would be just another normal muggle, not speaking properly and using lots of ums and errs.
