I have a moderate stutter that has gotten better with age and life experience, at least compared to when i was a shy and reclusive 13 year old. starting in high school, i was able to have a relatively social and normal life; i was never “popular” but nobody messed with me. i’m forever grateful to live in a place that is generally very tolerant and had all the resources i needed to grow and flourish. in recent years, i’ve gained experience as a supervisor at my current and previous jobs and that has given me so much room for practice. i am still introverted and shy around strangers, but when you get to know me you’ll find that i am pretty bubbly and fun-loving :)
