Yeah to echo what others have said. I'm a teacher and work with elementary aged children. I'm pretty straight up with them when they ask, and often tell them before about how I stutter and it's just something that makes me different. I don't think it needs to be a big deal, we all have something that makes us different and stuttering is ours! I like to hope that the children in my classes will grow up to be mor understanding, patient individuals when they hear others stutter.
