Moving soon and already scared for job interviews. Hi everyone, I’m a long time lurker but first time poster. Long story short, I’m moving to Florida soon and am also thinking about making a major career change when I get there. I’ve gotten almost every job I’ve ever had without having to do an “official” interview. One of them was one that a friend got for me, one was a hire on the spot after a internship, and another was one I got after volunteering at the place and getting to know everyone. The thought of having to go to job interviews is already stressing me out. I’m terrified of walking out with that familiar “welp I just ruined that opportunity” feeling, or ending up unemployed and broke because nobody wants to hire a stutterer. I hate the fact that my anxiety over this is putting a damper on my excitement about moving…interview tips or words of encouragement would be much appreciated!
