You're oversimplifying and sort of misrepresenting OP's point in a malicious manner. It's about trying to turn blocking into repetition, mostly by adding voluntary repetition stuttering into your speech so that more of your stuttering will be of the repetition type instead of other types. I reckon most people view repetition as a more "acceptable" and widely known (to the broad audience) type of stuttering. A severe block sure feels more debilitating and humbling than just repeating the same syllable for a bunch of times — I mean, even the greatest orators repeat syllables sometimes but few if any experience blocks unless they are PWS. Ultimately it's about trying to lessen your burden in speaking situations by leaning into the lesser of two evils. Now whether or not this method works I don't know but I certainly don't think trying it hurts and it's not a huge amount of effort anyway.
