If he is truly worried that his fluency may be a hindrance to finding a job I’d suggest he informs whoever he’s interviewing with that he has a stutter and he’s had it since childhood. It doesn’t impair any cognitive functions, it’s just a fluency issue and most people will understand that from the start and him stating it to them should remove any doubt about his abilities.
