I am in my 40s been stuttering all my life. Married and have two kids, one stutters also. I have a stable job also which I really enjoy. I am telling you this because many stutterers like myself end up living a good and happy lives. Stutters are teachers, scientists, engineers, speech therapists, lawyers, doctors, call center workers, actors, and more. We have our disability to deal with, but that's life, other people will have other things to deal with. The person you are today will not be the same person 30 years from now. There is hope, you just need to find it. You can find other stutterers and together you can support each other. Or find a therapist. Don't dwell on your stuttering, life is more than being fluent in your speech.
