I have struggled for many years with answering a call and saying “hello”. I’m fine with the rest of the call, I’ll stutter here and there, but I can get the words out. What works for me right now is saying “Good Morning/Afternoon”. For whatever reason that works for me. I have a work phone and a personal phone — for a while I had a soundboard app on one of the phones with a recording of me saying “hello?”. I tried that for a while but got tired of rushing to load the soundboard app before picking up a call.
