You may nor may not have your stutter forever but just try to do what you want to do regardless. It's better then any alternative. I tried to join the RAAF as a pilot and got rejected because of my stutter so I'm not going to lie and say it'll never affect your opportunities. I'm 36 now. I stutter alot less then I used to be but it's still part of my life every day. I have a great job and a happy marriage of 8 years with 2 kids. A stutter is disability/disadvantage but it doesn't mean your life can't be great.
