"Just talk to yourself" Okay but the problem is that I shot myself in the foot like fifteen years ago when I was still a kid and started to voice my thoughts to myself when nobody was around as a form of structuring my mind. Sure, it's highly effective as a coping mechanism to navigate whatever I'm going through or to work out complex thoughts and planning, but BOY do I still stutter even when I'm talking to the walls. So maybe for someone else, they can practice speaking slowly in the mirror, but for me that ship already sailed a long time ago lol. Not sure if anyone else experienced this. But hey, on a side note, I just learned by accident today that my stuttering reduces to near zero when I whisper, and apparently that's a common phenomenon. Great! Now I can whisper to the walls and look twice as weird 😂 Así es la vida.
