Of human bondage I just read Of Human Bondage by W. Somerset Maugham, which is sort of about stuttering (that's why I read it). It's semi autobiographical, and Maugham had a bad stutter, but in the book he has the main character have a clubfoot to stand in for his own stutter. It's still really relatable though in a lot of ways, like how he feels about his disability and how it affects his personality and interactions with other people and makes him feel inferior and shy. Has anyone else read it? I haven't had a lot of success finding good books with characters that stutter, especially stuff that's not trash. If anyone knows of any let me know.
