I’m sorry your going through this, just know that stuttering is not your fault. But in regards to a diagnosis, I don’t really know what to say. Stuttering is just weird like that. It can be caused by a bunch of different things and is different for everybody which I think is why it’s hard to find a definitive “cure” for it. I didn’t start stuttering until the age of 17 or 18, and before that I spoke fluently all the time. I’m 21 now and still stutter a lot. I will say though, I think a part of it does have to do with anxiety/stress and the brain trying to work too fast. I’ve always been a generally anxious person and I find that I often have a hard time while doing things like reading in that I’ll read the words too fast and have to go back, or my mind will often be somewhere else when I’m trying to focus on a particular task and I’ll have to intentionally bring my attention back. Sometimes we just have to calm ourselves down a little bit and tell our brains to slow down. Keep your head up man, if you can speak fluently from time to time, you can speak fluently all the time. It’ll get better with practice
