There are many studies connecting stuttering with an imbalance of the Dopamine system, specifically the basil ganglia. Subsequently there are also peer reviewed studies which discuss pornography and it’s negative implications on our dopamine circuitry. It down regulates receptors and causes a variety of issues with our brains. Most famously, Anhedonia. I understand this is taboo in the stutter sub (not sure why), but it’s important to spread factual information.
