May I suggest that your inhales result in that choking/sucking sound (again, posting this is incredibly powerful and helpful for all!)? Try just using exhales, practice making them forceful. Adding in eye contact can make a tremendous difference. Unfortunately many of us had SLP in school without actual training in treating stuttering, and they taught us to take a breath.
