Any tips for stuttering in job interviews? So I(23M) am just about to graduate from university. My stuttering became fairly rare and uncommon once I started university and made good friends and became social. Now that I’m graduating: I’m taking interviews for graduate schemes. I’ve done a few now and my stammering is really bad when I do these interviews. So frustrating. I know exactly what I want to say but the word doesn’t come out so I need to on the spot pause and think of an alternative word that’ll come out easier. Just feels really sucky that it’s happening now. I understand it’s because I’m nervous that the stuttering flares up. I’ve now started to tell the interviewer before hand that I do have a stutter speech impediment. Any other tips? I had forgotten I even have a stutter up until I’ve started doing these interviews!
