I never mention it nor did I ever felt the need to. No one cared. Just when I met people, I said hey I have a stutter so it can take a bit longer for me to say things. Sometimes I say it before meeting new people, sometimes I don't. This is about meeting friends and having dates. Always had the same reaction, no one cared tbh. But if it is a big part of your life, mention it of course. I personally often forget I have it until I am tired or nervous
