I had a cop do it to me last week. They were responding to the home alarm I set off at my cousins house. He usually has it disarmed when we go cut his grass. Not this time. It was pretty bad at that time. Not one whole word cam out. He started laughing at me and asked if I was nervous talking to cops. I said the I've been stuttering my entire life. Him and his partner got super serious and apologized. That didn't stop it from ruining my day. After 42 years you would think I would just brush it off.
