No. Quite the opposite. In fact, under enough pressure, it becomes a total block. Effectively a form of selective mutism. Now, looking over the current handful of responses, I do have to say the answer may be dependent on what the respondents think of as “Pressure.” I see a few situations that I don’t particularly think of as being pressure in themselves, for instance. For instance the reference to being “called upon to present a ton of information quickly” isn’t necessarily pressure on its own to me. In my case, I consider pressure to be certain emotional situations, particularly when I am feeling defensive. I wonder how the results would vary when grouped into similar sources of “Pressure”. How about you?
