Covert stuttering. I've been a covert stutterer almost all my life and now that I'm 24 years old I'm having a really hard time coming out as a stutterer because I have been so used to hiding it. It's really difficult for me to openly stutter mainly because of my self esteem issues. On the outside people think I'm a normal person and a fluent speaker (I have this very bad habit of substituting words before I have a block) but in reality, I'm a stutterering mess especially when I'm under pressure.
