Yes it is. If you’re in America anyways. According to the ADA: || An individual with a disability is defined in the act as someone who has "a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits one or more major life activities; has a record of such an impairment; or is regarded as having such an impairment." || https://www.shrm.org/resourcesandtools/tools-and-samples/hr-qa/pages/ada-covered-conditions.aspx Wether or not you disclose on the application part is strictly up to you. On the one hand businesses have quotas and hiring you as a disabled person might fill their quota. On the other hand the person reviewing the application might pass it up because of it (but doing so is technically illegal). Everyone has their own thoughts on when to disclose you have a stutter. But it’s been my experience that disclosing at the beginning of the interview takes a lot of pressure off me.
