Thank you for your response! :) Is there a name for the method your speech therapist implemented? I went to a speech therapist and unfortunately my stutter and speech blocks did not improve. The focus during the sessions was to relearn how to speak, slow and robotic at the start of the program and then gradually speaking less robotically and more "normally" as the sessions progressed. I did the program and practiced it at home as well, but I found that I was only fluent in the SLP clinic. Outside of that, the method was not practical/did not work for me. Was your method similar or different to this method? How do you reduce the tension that develop during a speech block? my words get stuck and I have not been able to figure out a method to relieve that tension and release of words.
