I rarely repeat syllables/words/sounds. My major problem is blocking. I just can't move, my voice box can't make a sound. Inside my body I've been trying to take note recently of what exactly is going on. I feel very tight in my upper chest, especially where my ribs are. It feels like all of the air that I am breathing is going to the back of my throat instead of my abdomen. It can feel like I'm hyperventilating. My breathing becomes very shallow and rapid. Afterwards it feels like I just barely avoided drowning. It's becoming downright painful. It's difficult, but I am trying to remember to use diaphragmatic breathing just before speaking. I am just at the beginning of using this tool, so it's not easy to remember, but when I can it makes speaking a lot easier and smoother. Over time I'm sure that I will remember more often, and I'll continue to stay the course.
