Thanks for the support! I hope my fears are baseless. Though it's sad that people might see a stutter as a lack of language knowledge, when that isn't necessarily true. I saw in a video somewhere that japanese people don't know much about the existence of stuttering, so it's usually "laughed off" as a personality issue or a lack of language knowledge if you're a foreigner. Guess I'll have to draw conclusions by myself.
