It was, but at 21 I met a wonderful girl who took me for who I was and who I would become. In other words, she accepted me and saw right through me; that I am more than my stuttering. We have been together for 10 years. I guess the advice is that when you find someonee who accepts you, then you know you got tje right one. Though that is easier said than done because nowadays people are so occupied with looks and appearance. You can find a partner. It just takes time.
