I’m a woman, and I’ve never been in a relationship. I was homeschooled through high school because the severity of my stutter had me under constant anxiety at school, and my grades were suffering because of oral presentations. I never went to college and I WFH, so I don’t meet anyone. There’s no way in hell I will use a dating app, especially with my stutter. I’d need to date a guy I was friends with first. As for friends, it hasn’t affected that. I still have a friend from school I still talk to, and I have two friends who live out of state so we mostly communicate through text anyway. My family is used to it because they’ve known me my whole life obviously. The only time it’s awkward is with extended family that I rarely see.
