I get it, We all want fluency. We should continue to work on the things we can control like our thoughts and emotions, our self talk and our breathing and posture. Read books, educate yourself. Finding an SLP Who specializes in stuttering is like finding a unicorn and is , at least in the US, not covered by insurance and very expensive. Chasing fluency is game very few win. You may have it for a little while but when you really need it, it won’t be there. Desensitization works at reducing the anxiety associated with stuttering Keep talking, tell people that you stutter, stutter on purpose, make jokes about it. I know it’s hard but great victories often come at great costs . Once you free yourself from the self inflicted wounds of shame, humiliation and anger you’ll realize how much people want to hear what you have to say. No one is coming to save you,best you get on with it
