The Shrek making up his name theory

The Shrek making up his name theory So I just read a “theory” that came from tumblr about Shrek. The theory states that Shrek didn’t have a name until he came up with it on the spot when first meeting Donkey. The backbone of the theory is that he hesitated before saying his name “uhhh……Shrek”. Then he does it again when introducing himself to Fiona. I find it funny because a lot of us here do the same thing, seem unsure about our own names to others. I didn’t find anyone mentioning the possibility that Shreks speech just might be awkward. Like almost everything on Tumblr, people are finding something out of nothing. So now I roll with the “theory” that Shrek is a covert stutterer, love the representation lol.
