Developing a stutter after going through depression?

Developing a stutter after going through depression? Hello! Around 10 years ago (I'm now 29) I went through a period of heavy depression, during which I developed a stutter that has followed me ever since – however, only occasionally, for some reason. Sometimes I'll go several months between each stutter and other times I'll be stuttering regularly for weeks, although the depression itself is long since gone. I have problems with words starting with certain letters, but when I get stuck I can sometimes circumvent it by finding synonyms with easier letters. Does anybody else have a similar experience? I can't seem to find much info on stuttering caused by depression, but would love to know more.
