Yes, true. My stutter type is silent blocks so I usually switch words or think of an alternative synonym. Sometimes the block resistant is so severe that I had to stop speaking at all because I didn't want to make a weird face infront of others. Reading out loud infront of an audience is not a problem. Talking with friends or families on any topic is easy with minimum blocks. Working in a PBO is also not a problem. On the first I struggled a bit but talking everyday for hours with customer reduces my anxiety, and my fluency increases. After I stop working in BPO, my speech disfluency return to its normal state.
