Well yes you’re right but it’s better to be open and honest about your issues. And I’m actually not even sure this is true. Some companies really do value diversity. Ultimately finding a job is about fit. If they call you in for an in person interview it means they like your qualifications and it’s about how you’ll mesh with the company. I’ve gotten internships and jobs in large part due to my stutter. I got into one of the most prestigious internships in my field largely due to my stutter.
