There's a large generic component. It's not weird, there's no standard experience of stuttering. Finding a qualified therapist who actually understands stuttering is the hardest part. Maybe reach out to the stuttering foundation for therapist recommendations I would avoid anyone who focuses on fluency and reinforces ideas of stuttering = bad, fluency = good. That's the opposite of what your daughter needs to hear.
