I'm sorry you have to live with a toothache. I know the feeling like you're all prepared to say a sentence fluently, but then all preparation just goes out the window when you're in the moment. Here's a war story for ya: I was working as a cashier and I was helping this mother and her young son with their purchases. Everything was fluent the whole transaction, until the end when I was trying to say "have a nice day" and I just kept repeating the first part of have, ha-ha-ha-ha... and her kid was mimicking me the whole time. The mom just shushed him and left the store. Very embarrassing and awkward to say the least. I think I was on the verge of tears because I was so embarrassed but at least I can laugh about it now lol.
