As a person who has done HCRI twice, I have to agree, I felt so lost and I did it when it was 3 weeks and when it was 2 weeks. 2 weeks was way too rushed there was no time for extra practice if you needed it. If you fell behind you were done for. For the 10k (when you factor in hotels) you can find a good private speech therapist who will focus on what he needs to. Also if your son suffers from anxiety or ADHD like I do it will be impossible to do in a crash course style.
