I still stutter all the time when I introduce myself too; it’s always the words that we can’t change or switch around that makes it the most difficult to say. I still get pretty embarrassed myself when it happens, but I do the best I can and that’s all I can do. I work in a hospital and when I talk on the phone, many times I don’t really have to say who I am when I answer the phone or call other departments because the person on the other line automatically knows it’s me because of my stutter...it’s like caller ID, lol. So, in some cases, having a stutter can come in handy. :)
