keep it up. thats an achievement. your story reminded me of my first ever stage performance. i wrote a play in college and the guy who was to portray a character didnt turn up last moment before we had the show. since i was the writer and was actively involved in the rehearsals, the director told me that only i can pull this off since i knew the character n everything. i told her i can stutter in the worst possible way n that it will ruin everything. i doubted myslf but she said we dont hv any option. so we had a deal.. i will improvise from the first dialogue to the last dialogue bcz if i memorize and say i will definitely fail. she agreed to it. i was shitting bricks in my pants. i kept myslf calm. now it ws time for my entry. from the green room i saw the audi was jam packed.. i took a deep breath in.. entered the stage.. for 2 secs i gazed the audience and that was it.. i ws in my character and performed ot to my best.. since it was a lil funny character i cud hear audience laughing clapping. that year we stood second in the fest. i was 19 then. today im 40. till date if anybody asks be whts your biggest achivement in life.. it still reminds me of this incident. but i shy away from sharing this incident with anybody. it becomes a lil beyond belief for others to believe that i cud act on stage and deliver dialogues 😄..
