If you have good ideas and contribute to the company’s mission, nobody aside from yourself will care about the stutter. They care that you’re making their work life better and that is all. Whenever a call is automatically transcribed, I cringe then laugh at how badly what I said was transcribed (I do the most talking). Then, I look at whatever product I’m working on, and it’s the shit, and I realize I had really good input and the stutter doesn’t matter. I wish I can say that more confidence results in less stuttering, but it doesn’t for me - it’s so random. Sometimes I’m fluent when I’m struggling, sometimes I stutter when I’m crushing it. It doesn’t matter. Just do your job and it’ll be okay!
