Did you put in the work to stay on target? Because if you did I feel like you wouldn't be saying this.. I mean yea you have to work on the building blocks to then bring it together into your slow normal fluent speech... Their exercises are VERY applicable... Not really sure how your experience was, but to me it sounds like you didn't take it seriously.
