I've met 100's of stutterers in my life so far. And you get used to it. Seriously. I've learned to accept my stutter because of seeing other people doing it also, they may still have a lot of trouble, but they do it confidently. Some of you will know what I'm talking about it. There's so many different people on here, each at their own stage in their stuttering journey. I hate seeing other people "*cringing*" (I hate that word) over other people who stutter. I try to say to people, does that on tell you something about yourself? As you said above, perspective, maybe a perspective needing to change more like it. We have A LOT more in common with eachother than I think a lot of you seem to understand. Covert/Overt out the window here, we are all dealing with the same thing, some people deal with it in other ways than you do. It's really that simple.
